Anniversary Chess Open : Here Are Our Champions
Our CHESS KLUB Ananth Nagar Anniversary OPEN chess tournament held this February was an unforgettable showcase of strategic brilliance, focus, and resilience. We are incredibly proud to celebrate our young prodigies who swept the podiums and brought home top honors across multiple age categories!
In the Under 10 division, Adwaith Rakesh claimed a spectacular 1st place finish with 3 points out of 6 rounds, while Aniket Dash showed incredible determination to secure a fantastic 3rd place with 4 points out of 6 rounds. Moving up to the highly competitive Under 13 category, Aaradhya put on a tactical masterclass, earning a brilliant 3rd place with an outstanding 4.5 points out of 6.
Our youngest competitors completely ruled the Under 7 category, securing a full podium sweep for the club! Venkata Hardik Nichenametla captured 1st place (1 point), followed closely by Agasthya Shetty in 2nd place (1 point), and Vedadhya Chidambaram taking home a proud 3rd place finish (0.5 points). Watching these children display such immense focus and sportsmanship is exactly why we do what we do. Congratulations to all our incredible champions!
