We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate a monumental milestone for Hitesh Mithran at the prestigious Akshayakalpa Karnataka State Chess Championship 2026, held from April 30th to May 3rd. Under the expert mentorship and guidance of Coach Divakaran, Hitesh delivered a phenomenal performance to officially secure his international Standard FIDE Rating of 1418!

Facing an incredibly challenging field, Hitesh showed immense mental stamina and strategic maturity, successfully scoring 1.5 points against established, rated players out of 6 rounds. Stepping up to the state level and claiming an official FIDE rating is a dream milestone for young chess players.
